So, I was sitting in my Introduction to Computers course at ITT Technical institute this evening, and the professor was explaining the NTFS file system to the class.  I have found that me taking this class would be like an English professor going back to school to take English as a second language.  Nonetheless, Dr. Clark has imparted upon us an interesting tidbit of information that I have yet to research and substantiate.  He claimed that Microsoft created the NTFS file system in an effort to copy what Apple was already doing with their file system.
